Johnny has made the cut!! He is now officially a Waldorf School Student!! I am so happy! Johnny is so happy! We are a happy family. Now... on to the other two children next year.

Ivan's speech class has been phased out- due to no funds from the State for this particular program. What a bummer. He is doing so much better. He doesn't whisper his words anymore. He is trying to talk! You have to be a family member or loving teacher to understand what he is saying but-- he's talking!!

At the end of this month a "searcher" is going to try and find Ivan's biological family. His bio parents and his bio sisters. I'm pretty sure we won't find the youngest sisters because I was told they were being adopted. I sent pictures and a letter to his birthmother. I hope I don't hurt her in any way, I just think she would like to know he is happy and healthy and has a loving family. I called our Social Worker regarding the possibility of finding Ivan's oldest sister. I think she would be about 13 yrs old now. What to do if we find her in an orphanage? Hubby is not keen on the idea of a 13 yr old girl joining the family. I'm sure if this is the case though we will talk to Social Worker more and make the right decision. It makes things especially hard since we are already in the process of an adoption from China.

I have an opportunity to apply as a regional office for our agency. I would like to do this as there is quite a bit of interest in adoption up here. Maybe then I would feel I was actually making a difference in this world. There is a new adoption networking and services office here that just opened this last year. I would like to work with them on this. I guess I should just take the leap.

I also have started research on a book that I would like to write that I will talk about later. It is kind of like an early pregnancy where it still is kind of like a secret.
