"A tornado is comin'!" says my daughter. Well, sure seems like one is. "Do you think that our house will get picked up like Dorothy's?" she asks. That would be fun. Tornados in California. Well.... there WERE a few last year.

We had a short impromptu yard sale today. Was pretty good. Made a little cash and it feels sooooo good to declutter and simplify. Sure couldn't tell by looking at the house though. I have 5 yes, 5 laundry baskets full of clothes waiting to be put away and stacks of escrow files all over the dining room table. Our house is too small for the amount of people we have!!

We will have one more person here in a day or two. Hubby's brother needs a place to stay for a few days. Again.

We went to get our fingerprints done in Sacramento the other day or yesterday.. I don't know. I asked the BCIS officer if they had closed the office that was just in the next town from us. "No." he says, "I don't know why they sent you all this way." he shrugged. Well, a three hour drive with three sleepy kids was better than I thought it would be. They looked outside and played word games. I feel so much better that they do that, than just strapping a portable DVD player to the front seat and turning them into zombies that can't appreciate the scenery. Tons of the cars we passed (and who passed us) had them on.

So anyway, got them done even though hubby sliced his finger and needed 6 stitches a few days ago. Luckily it was on the top of his finger. Don't know why I'm saying "luckily" because he nicked a tendon in that finger. I guess I have some weird priorities. As long as those prints don't get marred......

So- we are just waiting for our I-171-H to come in the mail and then off to get rest of docs certified and authenticated. Then.... To China!!!

Got an e-mail from my searcher in Russia. The search has been put off 'til mid-March. That's ok w/ me 'cause we will have to send the rest of the agency fee to our agency with the rest of our paperwork for China. I think our agency (blank) is really good.(edited out) Take a look if your interested.

I have been running into people right and left that are interested in adoption. Wish there was a way that I could help on a more formal basis.

Johnny wants to know what's for lunch .. time to go.
