I have got so many things churning around in my poor tired brain.

I have an idea for a new business here that I would love to do. The timing is just right here in this town for it. Unfortunately-- no business plan. Maybe I'll work on it.

My oldest son's last day of school was yesterday. Man I love that school! I really like the teachers and PARENTS too. Believe me- this is a unique thing. I just dropped my daughter off at her school and the whole "feel" of that school is so ....... I don't know...... wrong. Parents who still can't get over their cliques in High School, burnt out teachers, unhappy kids who are being forced into a mold and will never know their true selves. I am very happy that Daughter will be starting at Waldorf School next school year- I want her to love learning- I mean she does now but she's only in kindergarten. I say only kindergarten but they are telling time, counting money, adding, subtracting, she is reading like you wouldn't believe and she has pages of homework every night! Definitely not the kindergarten I was in as a kid.

I am in a couple DTC groups for our China adoption. I really like them. Helps me connect with people who are going through the same thing I am. We are in the middle of a 100 Wishes Quilt swap. We all trade quilt squares and good wishes. You then put the quilt together with all the different squares from all over the world and then your child is "wrapped" in good wishes by the quilt. Great idea and tradition I think. Here are some examples of the different squares and wishes I've received.

If you can't read the wish- It is a quote from Helen Keller.

"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart"
