WTF is going on with China Adoption right now?
First of all, what idiots are trying to skew the Rumor Queen's Poll? I really think some people need to get a hobby.
Second, I am getting an avalanche of e-mails from my agency. Are they freaking out about the "unknown wait times"? Are people bailing out of the program? It seems that they are even scared to post their waiting child list without every single tiny dust mote on a file verified by the CCAA.
I did have a talk with one of the employees there re: the volume of dossiers coming in. It seems they have seen a HUGE downturn of applications and dossiers being submitted.
I think that the agency has decided that a flurry of e-mails re: the I171-h and fingerprint expiration and whatever else they can think of (books to sell, etc) will keep us from tuning into the Rumor Queen or other such sites. Will it keep us busy with looking into our files, hoping that we will squeak under the wire of timelines? I don't think so.
I want to believe I won't have to renew let alone completely re-apply for my I-171-h. I doubt that it will happen. I am very concerned about this. I don't think I can do this all over again.
I want to stay home with my kids. I want to cut back on the hours I work and be here for their childhood. I just may change my mind about all this. We are a family in SERIOUS transition. I will post about this at a later time.

You actually get e-mails from your agency? Amazing. I'm glad to hear that agencies are having such a downturn in dossiers submitted. Let them wait it out like the rest of us...Yeah, I'm bitter; I feel like we're being held emotionally and financially hostage...Happy comment, eh?
