Just a quick post -

I'm back from Texas where I found the Massage Therapist of My Dreams. He wouldn't fit into my suitcase though and I had to leave him in Ft. Worth.

My DH and I will be taking our CPR/FA renewal class all day Saturday. 8am to 5pm. 1/2 hr lunch break. We met another couple who has their dossier in another country and is also going Fost Adopt route. The will be in the class w/ us. So happy to have found them. Truly kindred spirits they are.

Just got finished baking 7 dozen gingerbread men for the Winter Festival at the kids school. I dropped one last night and his leg broke off. It was horrifying- the children were standing open mouthed with shock. After watching Shreck, those little cookie men are too real I think. I also had to string yarn through holes in 3 dozen sugar cookies I made for the crystal cave for the Festival. They hang up the cookies and they are the "crystals" in the cave. Man I wish I went to their school when I was a kid!

I never thought I'd be the kind of mother that was a frenzied baker of cookies for school projects. I am definitely not domestic. Goes to show how much children change but enrich our lives.

A few other things-

Denise and her DH have gone on their first trip and are just about ready to go on their second. It is ending up to be a three trip process for them. She e-mailed me about her airline tickets and all I have to say is the loos on that plane must be solid gold. Woooeey! Those are some expensive seats! All worth it for the absolutely perfect little one waiting for them in Russia. Hey girl- enjoy that Baby Shower! It's all yours! I think your idea about margarita's earlier was a great idea. No worries, you'll have a great time.

WTF? China Adoption has gone to Hell!!!!! Read the Rumor Queen New requirements and a longer wait in store. Longer wait? Isn't the wait at about 15 - 16 months now? Cheese and Rice people!!!! Don't start now! There are other countries!!!

Glad you were able to find some quality masseuse time while in Texas. I could use some here in Pennsylvania, but there don't seem to be as many CMTs in Amish Country....

And how 'bout those new regs from the CCAA?!?! Can't wait to see how quickly and when this longer (?!?!) wait begins. Efff!

Thanks for the comments! Have fun at your CPR class. So glad you found some others in town going through the same ordeal you are.

Okay, you are getting me closer and closer to signing "Evan" up for Waldorf as soon as he get home! ;o) It sounds so great.

China's program... I just don't get it. Unbelievable!
