I love fires. The smoke and flames are cleansing to the soul. No, I'm not a pyro.
An albino deer has been spotted here. My ancestors (on one side) believe this to be a good omen. That the deer is sent from the Creator. It is a sign of purity and healing for the Earth or the Tribe.
I find this very interesting. Just two weeks ago a Smew was spotted here. This is a duck from Russia. People from Riverside and Vancouver came to look at this duck that found an old swimming hole of mine to be a great place to show off.
There has NEVER been this kind of duck here, according to Fish and Game.
I feel a great change coming. With the albino deer here I hope it is truly a positive sign.
Why would a duck fly all the way across an ocean to a small pond in the foothills of the Sierra? To my back yard? He stayed for several days. I took the kids to see him.
I never used to believe in signs. I never used to be superstitious. Yet when I had to dump out a bunch of salt while cleaning my older sister's house this evening, I took a pinch and threw it over my shoulder (whole other post re: my sister).
My uncle and my Great Grandmother have been close to me lately. I feel them. I know I sound a little freaky but it is like when people say they feel a storm coming. I don't feel a storm, I feel a shifting or a change in the direction of the wind.

Makes perfect sense to me...I hope there is a great thing afoot.
That is one beautiful duck!
I know what you mean.
Cool.
Very cool. Not sure where I stand on signs, but I absolutely believe in being able to sense shifts in energy.
Lovely fire. And I'm very impressed with the albino deer and the Smew - what a great name, Smew.
I believe with you - these are very positive signs, all pointing to upcoming success(es)!
I have not heard about either of these two things, but wow they are strange. Duck from Russia huh? Hmmm... won't tell you what I think it means... I'm sure you already know.
Anyway, I hope this change will bring you lots of happy smiles.
You'll have to email me and tell me where this pond is, I couldn't tell from the picture.
What a lovely, calming post.
Doesn't sound freaky at all.
I haven't posted it on my blog yet... but in the last 2 days, I've been feeling the same... something HAS shifted, it seems, and I don't know what it is. And it seems positive. I'm not ready to write about it though...
: o )
Kris
ps. you don't sound freaky at all.... as a priest once said to me, life and death are so intimately connected, they kiss. Life doesn't end when our bodies die.
oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh
aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Creepy? Cool? Enough to make you stop and think.
Hope all of it brings something amazing and wonderful your way.
The albino dear is something I have never seen before. He looks snow covered. What a special visitor. It surely is a sign that your property feels safe and welcoming to these animals. That has to be good in a Feng Shui way. I once dated a landscaper and he told me that when animals move into an garden it means that a welcoming habitat has formed. He felt it was a big positive. A balance of nature.
