Chew

Do you remember talking about this adoptive Mom who said "forget it" to her China Agency and moved to the Guatemala Program?

Well guess what? She is living in Antigua and fostering her daughter herself while waiting to get through PGN. Good For Her!!!

Her daughter is beautiful!! Click on the link above to see the Divine Ms. Pearl.

I have to say I admire her- living in a different country, fostering her future daughter and missing her husband who stays stateside to work. Just think how much of her daughter's culture she will be able to pass on. What a story of love and commitment to tell her later in life.

I'm jealous!

Still Waiting is waiting no more

This is a link to a blog of a family waiting for their "10 day waiting period" to be over in Russia. She calls her kids Bonnie and Clyde- love that. This specific post caught my attention because it reminded me so much of my youngest. He had no idea that he could come to my husband and I for comfort. It took him a long time and a lot of work on our part to get him to realize that we are here for him.
This is the first time I met my son. Just looking at this picture makes my heart swell. It helps me know that there is hope- there actually may be a light at the end of this tunnel.

Different Dirt

Can I just say that I am green with envy!!! This lucky chick is living in Ireland right now.
How cool is that?!
She is LID 5/24/06.
She just came back from a trip to Croatia.
Her good friend just bought a house. (see entry "Release the Demons") The home buyer in me was sooo laughing and the REALTOR in me was cringing. It is REALTORs like that- that make me ill and want to leave the business for good.
Anyway- take a look at where she gets to visit- London, Paris, ahhhh the life. Just click on the Title.
