I LOVED this DVD!!!

I have been devouring everything I come in contact with re: China. The whole family enjoyed this one. Globe Trekker: Destination China

Of course got it off Netflix. I has two shows on it.

One explores the traditional South West of China. That includes Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou and Sichuan.

The other one features Central China. It included Shanghai, the Yellow Mountains and the Yangzi River and ended at Xian. That used to be the capital of China.

Xian is also where they found the terra cotta warriors.

The singing of the long horn women was haunting. During the tour of the city Yangshuo, I almost cried. The scenery was amazing. I can only imagine what impact it has in person. The high mountains and serene river were breathtaking.

Anyway, if you want to learn more about China I highly recommend this DVD.
