Got a "group" e-mail from my agency today re: the waiting child list. There are 5 kids left on it that no one has applied or should I say "been accepted" for. They happen to be ALL boys.

There are two "older" boys on it. One 10 the other 11 yrs. The eleven yr old reminds me so much of my oldest. The other three are 2 and under.

How I wish we were going to adopt a boy. There they are just waiting while there are thousands of frantic parents looking. But............... they are looking for girls. That is a big reason many people turn to China. Girls.

When we adopted our son from Russia, people thought we were crazy for adopting a boy. "He could be so much trouble." How can there STILL be such wrong perceptions?
